THE ROASTERIE - “30 YEARS OF MORNINGS LIKE THESE”
Credits: Director, Director of Photography, Editor, Colorist
Coffee lovers know that the morning brew is more than just a cup. It’s a traditional way to start the morning and the ritual to a good day. For some it’s grab and go, to others it’s a chance to savor a peaceful moment. The Roasterie Coffee Company has been providing this tradition to Kansas City for 30 years now, and Taylor wanted to highlight just one of those experiences.
While working at Trozzolo, Taylor was looking for a quick project he could use to practice his skills in Cinematography and Color. Asking around the account team, he found this opportunity and ran as far as the $300 budget could take him. He created his concept, rented a couple lights, and planned the shoot. Armed with only his experience and eye, Taylor was able to create this 30 second spot in just a morning of shooting and an afternoon of editing.
The result was capturing a beautiful moment that highlights the true essence of a good cup of coffee – the memories it helps us create.
FRY ORTHODONTICS - “TEETH LOVE US”

Taylor’s most recent project at Trozzolo Communications Group was being a key collaborator in Fry Orthodontic’s latest campaign – “Teeth Love Us”. Led by some of the agency’s talented creative directors, Taylor helped bring their absurd concepts to screen.
“Have you seen Braveheart? Now imagine Mel Gibson as a giant tooth”
With a lean crew and tight budget, Taylor thrived on set in his role as Director of Photography and helped the creative team fulfill their vision as editor and colorist. The result was a hilarious, attention-grabbing broadcast commercial ready to kick off Fry’s marketing campaign this summer.
LIBBY & NATE - A WEDDING STORY
Credit: Filmmaker
Over the past 7 years, Taylor has built his craft as a wedding filmmaker. He started as a contract shooter and editor for other companies, but launched his own business in 2020 and began taking his own clients. Through his vast experience with storytelling, Taylor has created his own personal style for creating films that his clients cherish.
When shooting weddings, Taylor is often a one-man-band for the entire 12hr day. Throughout the day he is running multiple cameras at once, gathering audio from multiple devices, swapping from gimbals to tripods quickly, setting up lights, and most importantly finding the unique story in each of his clients as it plays out in real time. This film was shot, edited, and color graded entirely by Taylor and is his most recent work to date.
TEMPLETON’S GIG - MUSIC VIDEO
Credits: Writer, Director, Editor, Colorist
In April of 2022, Templeton Rose (a band from Taylor’s hometown) hired Taylor to produce a music video for one of their songs. After pitching his idea, he started pre-production and brought on a good friend to be cinematographer . While the project had no budget and was limited to the resources available to him, it was a huge success and is one of Taylor’s favorite pieces to date.
WESTLAKE ACE HARDWARE - ONLINE

While at his current position for Trozzolo Communications Group, Taylor has been an integral part of many productions. His usual role for this client is to be Director of Photography on set, edit both 15 and 30 second online spots, and color grade for web distribution.
These are a few of the projects in which Taylor helped create.
MISSOURI BOYS STATE - DAILY RECAP
Co-Director of Department, Videographer, Editor, Colorist,
In 2015, Taylor attended Missouri Boys State, a week-long leadership program for high school seniors where participants form their own government from the ground up. There, he held the position of “News Director” for the television broadcast team and, because of his efforts, was asked to return as a staff member for the video yearbook.
Since 2016, Taylor has returned to Boys State every year to volunteer for the program and in 2022 was made Co-Director of the MBS Films Department. As Co-Director, Taylor has led the volunteer team in filming the events of the program, editing advertisements, creating social content, and producing all video content for the non-profit. He has also created and implemented a file and project organizational structure that allows for multi-user collaboration in the post production process. The linked video is an example of the editing work Taylor does for the program. The footage is shot, edited, and sent to the screen in under 24 hours. This example is from 2023.
