ABOUT ME:

Die-hard film fanatic, solid bogey golfer, loving cat dad, and aspiring son of David Spade. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me trying new breweries with my friends, going to the gym, binging a new TV show, and writing my latest short film. But the most important thing you can know about me is my passion for being a filmmaker. Write, Shoot, Edit, repeat is pretty much my lifestyle and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

This passion is what has driven me to grow in my career. I’m not a filmmaker by choice, I’m a filmmaker by necessity. Something inside me tells me that I have to create, and if I didn’t listen to it I’d go crazy.

ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE:

I started my filmmaking journey at the age of 16, when a teacher gave me a camera and told me to make something. I did, and it was awful, but I knew I had found something I loved to do. Not long after, I bought my first camera and soon a family friend asked if I could film her wedding. I was young, inexperienced, and definitely didn’t know what I was doing, but I instantly knew that this was something I had a passion for.

I reached out to a professional wedding photographer in the area and he gave me the opportunities I needed to hone my craft, soaking up every bit of knowledge I could along the way. For five years I worked for David as his go-to videographer, second shooter for photography, and full time video editor for his business, Selby Films. Currently, I work at Trozzolo Communications Group as a full time Video Production Specialist while continuing my wedding business on the side. Hard work and passion has helped me turn my filmmaking passion into a career – needless to say, I’m extremely lucky!

ABOUT MY WORK:

I know it sounds cheesy, but I love what I do and take pride in my work. Having shot over 75 weddings since I first started, I’ve learned the in’s and out’s of a wedding; but more importantly what and how to capture it. Though I have enjoyed working for other wedding videographers and companies and am thankful for the opportunities they have provided for me, I believe it’s time to set off on my own and start creating films the way I think they should be done.

To me, this means building narrative, story-driven films that use a mixture of sound, visuals, and editing to build a cinematic experience that captures your love. I don’t just want my films to be how you remember the day, I want them to be better than how you remember them.
